Joshua Dembsky, a native of central New Jersey, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University in 1996, before attending dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving his dental degree in 2000, Joshua began his military service as a dental officer in the United States Navy. In 2001, he completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Naval Dental Center Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida, before fulfilling his 4 years of Naval service at Naval Dental Center Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk and Naval Air Station Oceana. He then went on to complete his residency in Endodontics (root canals) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2006, and practiced endodontics in private practice in New Mexico before joining the team at Advanced Endodontics of Connecticut in 2007.

Dr. Dembsky is a Board Certified Endodontist and has won numerous awards including the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship and the Pierre Fauchard Dental Leadership Award. He has conducted original research at the University of Pennsylvania, Louisiana State University, and the Smithsonian Institution, and has lectured at multiple dental society meetings. He has been repeatedly recognized as a "Top Endodontist" by Connecticut Magazine and the USA topDentists survey. His personal interests include travel and the outdoors and he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
